Jan Hogg

Jan is a Property Valuer with Hastings Legal, advising clients across the Borders on preparing their homes for sale and carrying out detailed valuations. As an ESPC-accredited valuer, she combines strong local knowledge with a practical approach, assessing properties, reviewing the market, and guiding clients on how best to achieve a successful outcome.
She enjoys meeting new people and the variety that comes with visiting different homes. Jan understands that moving can be stressful, particularly for those selling after many years, and she believes in clear advice and patient support to help clients move forward with confidence.
Outside of work, Jan lives in the Borders with her husband and their two dogs. A lover of musical theatre, she has starred in many leading roles with Gala Opera and enjoys the creativity and connection this brings to her life beyond work.
