Kerry James

Kerry is Lettings Manager with Borders Country Lets, part of Hastings Legal, overseeing rental properties across Kelso, Jedburgh, Hawick, Galashiels and Selkirk. Based in the Kelso office and with a wide network across the region, she brings extensive knowledge and a practical, client-focused approach to managing lettings day to day.
She first joined Hastings in 2000, working across legal reception, conveyancing and executries, and also gained experience in cashier duties before moving into the Property Shop. When the lettings department launched, Kerry played a pivotal role in establishing what is now Borders Country Lets and has been instrumental in its growth ever since. She is a Certified Practitioner with the Chartered Institute of Housing and holds a CIH Level 3 Certificate in Letting and Managing Residential Property, qualifications that strengthen the expertise she offers clients.

Kerry enjoys the variety the role brings, the chance to meet people throughout the Borders, and the satisfaction of ensuring lettings are handled smoothly from start to finish.
