Suzanne Burn

Suzanne Burn is Director of Property at Hastings Legal and senior valuer for Berwickshire. She joined the firm in 2004, when it was still in its infancy, and has grown with it as it developed into the multi-branch agency it is today. Suzanne has built her career entirely within the company and played a key role in the firm’s expansion into Berwickshire, where it now runs a thriving property department across three offices.
Committed to professional development, Suzanne gained her AssocRICS qualification in 2016 and was appointed Director in 2025. Her role combines professional valuation with client care. She is regularly out across the Borders visiting properties, preparing marketing appraisals, and advising clients on the best approach to sale.
With more than twenty years’ experience, Suzanne has valued everything from compact townhouses to large rural estates. Her focus is always on making the process as straightforward as possible while maximising value for clients. She takes pride in representing Hastings Legal’s integrated property and legal service, ensuring clients feel supported from first instruction through to completion.
Based in Berwickshire, Suzanne is a keen horsewoman and competes regularly as well as attending training events. Away from work and horses, she enjoys country life on a smallholding near Duns with her husband and young son.
